In the latest edition of fashion musical chairs, Peter Dundas is out at Roberto Cavalli after just three seasons. The announcement was made less than a month after Spring 2017 collection debuted in Milan. After less than stellar reviews following his return to Cavalli, Dundas seemed to find his footing in the later seasons. Dundas's Cavalli girl was seventies bohemian, an aesthetic he solidified during his tenure at Emilio Pucci. The decision was one of many moves towards the brand's restructuring and follows a long line of creative director shakeups; The pressure is on to keep up with fast fashion and constantly changing pace of the fashion industry. A design team will be taking over until the brand announces a new creative director.
